To customize text wrap in a table
You can wrap text around the outside of a table or you can set text to flow into an adjoining cell inside the table.

1. Put the document in edit mode.

2. Place your cursor in the cell you are adjusting, and click Table > Table Properties.

3. Click the Table Margins tab.

4. To adjust an entire row, select the row first.

5. Follow the procedures in the following table to customize your text wrap.


Ways to wrap text in a table

Set text to wrap around the outside of the table (fixed width tables only)

Note: With this option enabled, the table's position cannot be set to center or right, it can only be left justified.

In the Table wrap section, select Outside table.
Set text to flow from one cell to the next, horizontally

Note: When all cells are full, remaining text collects in the last cell. With this option enabled, you cannot create or paste a section into any of the table's cells.

1. In the Table wrap section, select Inside table.

2. Specify the depth of cell space for text to fill before the text flows over into the next cell by adjusting the amount of inches in the At height field; click the check mark to save.
